Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) announced Netspoke Web Conferencing as a winner of the 2007 TMC Labs Innovation Award. The TMC Labs Innovation Awards honor products that demonstrate raw innovation, unique features, and significant contributions toward improving communications technology. The TMC Labs Innovation Awards are not granted only to the best-selling products, but instead to those demonstrating raw innovation, uniqueness, and representing a significant contribution to the industry.
I’m extremely proud of our product management, R&D, and operations teams for this great accomplishment. The May v2.5 release of the Conferencing Hub and Netspoke Web Conferencing truly represented an innovative communication technology solution for our customers and their constituents.
Some of the product features that I’m most proud of are:
- Conferencing Hub. The Conferencing Hub provides complete self-service management for moderators and administrators. Moderators can manage both audio and web conferences, recordings, reports, and settings. Administrators can easily manage Hub settings, edit Hub branding, add moderators, view reports, and view billing details.
- Easy-to-Use interface. Customers clearly (and I mean in no uncertain terms) let us know that they wanted to have fewer clicks to perform key functions. We listened and acted. Automated drop down menus…automatic population of fields…done.
- Recurring Meeting Support. People don’t need to schedule recurring meetings where the audio information and web conference link stay the same…do they? Actually…they do. We fixed it. You now not only get a persistent web conference URL, but you get one for each audio conference account. Which brings me to…
- Multiple audio conference account support. Using the Conferencing Hub (a key differentiator for Netspoke), you can now view, edit and create multiple audio conference accounts including domestic automated conferencing (ReadyConference) and global automated conferencing (GlobalMeet). And for those fans of global conferencing, full support for local access numbers in email invitations as well as in the live web conference interface.
- PowerPoint Animations and Slide Transitions. We completely rebuilt the entire PowerPoint converter. It is now 100% Flash based…which means the visual quality is dramatically better, slide animations are supported, and slide transitions are supported. Wunderbar!
