Premiere Global Services provides two ways for you to use outlook to send a fax. The most common method is to create an email message, attach your documents (remember to attach them in the order that you want them faxed out), enter the text in your email, which will be placed on the cover page, and enter the to address as <fax)number>@fax2mail.com. Then send it off as any other email message.
We also offer the Microsoft Outlook plug in. This plug in uses Outlooks built in forms integration to simplify your faxing process.
To take advantage of the plug in, log into your Fax2Mail account and go to the download section, download the Microsoft Forms plug in. You will need to make sure you have Outlook closed when you start the installation process.Once installed you can send a fax by simply going to the “New” menu and select “Fax2mail”. A window just like an email window will open, you can enter your cover page notes in the body of the message and attach any documents you would like to fax, keep in mind that we will deliver the messages in the order you attach them. To send the fax just enter the fax number and hit “send”. You do not need to put @fax2mail.com, the form does this for you. You also have an Options tab which will allow you to turn the cover page on and off, choose standard versus fine mode delivery, add a customer reference number or a customer billing code and turn reports on and off. At Premiere we simplify the faxing process!
