Premiere Global realizes that some customers have custom applications that cannot be sent into our network to be faxed. For those customers we provide a nifty tool that allows you to convert any Microsoft Windows based document into a fax image that can be sent to our network to be faxed. In addition, we even provide a simple and powerful graphic interface to submit your faxes. To download this application login into your PGi Fax2Mail account at http://www.premiereglobal.com/desktop-fax-online/and go to the Download Center and download the DocuManager Fax Driver. Once installed, to send a fax, simply have your document open and select “file” and “print”, then select the “DocuManager Fax Driver”. Your document will be converted to a fax format and the Fax Driver submission tool will open up. From here you can add the fax number, enter the person name, the company and any notes that you would like to go on the cover page. You can also upload a list of recipients or attach additional files to be faxed out.To make sure your fax is going to look just as good on the fax machine as it does on your computer, you can preview the fax. Once it looks good, you can click the send fax button and off it goes.

How do I send a fax with Microsoft Outlook
Blogger: Frank ToscanoSaturday, September 8th, 2007
Premiere Global Services provides two ways for you to use outlook to send a fax. The most common method is to create an email message, attach your documents (remember to attach them in the order that you want them faxed out), enter the text in your email, which will be placed on the cover page, and enter the to address as <fax)number>@fax2mail.com. Then send it off as any other email message.
We also offer the Microsoft Outlook plug in. This plug in uses Outlooks built in forms integration to simplify your faxing process.
Can you see me now? Caller ID for internet fax.

Premiere Global supports both the Caller ID feature and the Transmitting ID feature. In the fax world there are two types of Identifiers, the Transmitting Subscriber Identification (TSID) and the Called Subscriber Identification (CSID). The CSID is what shows up on your Caller ID display telling you who is calling you, while the TSID is what shows up on your fax machine and is intended to identify the fax machine that is calling and while they could be the same, most often they are different. You may ask why does this matter? A big difference between these two features is that the CSID is controlled by the phone company and cannot easily be changed, the TSID however is controlled by the person who owns the fax machine and can be easily altered. The TSID field can be 20 alpha numeric digits and is programmed by the person who sets up the fax machine for the first time. Unfortunately the majority of fax machines being used today are not properly programmed to identify themselves or they utilize a generic name like “Fax Machine”, because of this you cannot develop special rules based on the sender. When you are able to receive the CSID field you can do some very special things that you just cannot do if you are only receiving the TSID.
Let’s Chat about Security

Whether you are a small home office or a large enterprise customer, security will always be a concern. Some applications are clearly more sensitive then others. Unfortunately, most companies often overlook the needs of the small business. While large organizations can afford to utilize dedicated circuits or Virtual Private Networks (VPN), most small businesses have to rely on what is out there, and most fax service providers only address the open internet for their communication needs.
What is unique about your internet fax services?

Of all the questions I receive as the Product Manager for PGi Fax Services, this is by far the most frequent. There are many ways to answer this complex question, while it may seem very simplified by nature, the reality is that what is important to one customer may have very little meaning to another customer.
So let’s start from the top and work our way down. From a high level, what makes Premiere Global unique is that we provide a Communication Operating System (COS). A single, integrated network that allows companies to transact virtually any type of communication to their customer, trading partners or employees. Our COS supports Voice, Fax, SMS and Email delivery options while providing our customers with a multitude of connectivity and integration options. As new technology emerges, we will integrate those solutions into our Communication Operating System.
